Dr. Shannen McGinley-Vallee was born in Bayonne, New Jersey and was raised in the small town of Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania after relocating at a young age. She started making her way down the east coast after receiving her Bachelor of Science in biology at Pennsylvania State University (We are!).
She attended the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia where she received her medical degree. It was during her pediatric clerkship that she decided to dedicate her medical practice to the care of children and adolescents.
Dr. McGinley-Vallee finally made her way to Florida, completing her pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando. During her residency, she loved to visit Disney World and spend weekends at the beaches in Brevard County.
Dr. McGinley-Vallee is very excited to join Pediatrics in Brevard and is looking forward to providing care to the children in the community. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, a meteorologist, and her dog, Duke. She loves kayaking, visiting national parks,
going on cruises, and reading.
